​Welcome to Cameo (Come And Meet Each Other) our Tuesday morning group for the over 55s … a warm, welcoming and friendly environment to come and meet others. 

 

The club meets every Tuesday morning between 10-12. We are a friendly, fun-loving group who just enjoy getting together over a cuppa and snack and enjoy a good old chat about anything and everything! 

 

Once a month we will have lunch together - either at the pub or fish and chips from our friendly neighbours at Codfellas. Or we may put on a light lunch ourselves from time to time! We will also make time to have a fun activity once a month - such as bingo, a quiz, or games.

 

Cameo runs throughout the year with just a 2 week break at Christmas so we can all put our feet up!

 

Cameo club is run by a team of volunteers who are part of Greenfinch Church. You will meet Janet, Christine, Clare, Donna and Ken. 

 

We love people dropping into visit for a cuppa and chat and are always keen for new members so if you like us, why not bring along a friend or neighbour? Everyone is welcome!!

 

What happens each week at Cameo Club?

 

Monthly programme sample:

Week 1: Games with Ken £3.00

Week 2: Coffeemates (a cuppa, snack and chat) £3.00

Week 3: Breakfast / Dinner £5.00

Week4: 'Cameo Capers' (a fun-based activity with a cuppa / snack) f3.00

Week 5: When this occurs, we will add in another activity!

 

How much does it cost to belong to Cameo Club?

 

We pass a basket around at the end of the session to collect donations in. We would ask for you to cover the cost of the pub lunch or fish and chips - but we get a good deal on these anyway from our friendly Chantry Traders. We hope the fun, food, and friendship you receive as part of the Cameo community is priceless!
